JLA Group is a UK based company who install, maintain and repair commercial appliances for over 25,000 businesses nationwide. With an unrivalled network of engineers, they provide vital support for laundry, catering, heating, air conditioning, fire safety and infection control machinery for both the public and private sectors.

Over their 50-year history, JLA has grown to employ over 1000 people. Now, with the private equity backing of Cinven, they have extremely ambitious growth plans.

In order to make these ambitions a reality, JLA partnered with Lightbulb to assess and develop a number of key growth areas of value creation in leadership development, culture and inclusivity.

Why Lightbulb?

What did Lightbulb deliver?

Lightbulb rolled out a series of bespoke leadership development masterclasses within JLA. These are designed to develop growth leaders capable of building inclusive and progressive organisations that are fit for the future.

The project also included working closely with the acquired businesses, the leaders of individual business units and those within the group leadership function.
