Keeping women leaders well and working through MENOPAUSE is a priority for HR
That’s a critical question that every HR and wellbeing professional must be able to answer. And most can’t.
Why?
Because, most employers DON’T have a wellbeing, reward or benefits offering for menopause.
A study by the National Women's Health Network found that only 18 percent of employers offer menopause-related benefits as part of their workplace wellbeing and rewards programs. This leaves a large majority of women in menopause without the necessary support to manage their symptoms and keep their careers on track. Especially senior women vital to the future of your company.
And women leaders are switching jobs in rapid rates as they search for inclusive, flexible and impact driven employers offering them a range of flexible, relevant and career advancing benefits through menopause.
In a recent survey from The Menopause Maze who surveyed over 3,500 women the results:
73% of women said they would value access to a menopause career coach through their workplace wellbeing, reward and benefits offerings.
That’s a big piece of menopause feedback that talent, HR, wellbeing and reward professionals must act on!
And with high profile women business leaders speaking out about the rise of menopause depression and suicide this is a critical issue for HR professionals that goes way beyond a menopause policy.
The time now is to move on from symptoms sessions and start incorporating menopause as a key lever in your wellbeing, D&I, ESG, talent and L&D strategies.
