Business and Coaching Psychologist
Merroney is a business and coaching psychologist who is qualified in a number of scientifically valid psychometric assessments, personality is an area of specialism for her. She has a deep professional interest in, and specialist knowledge of, the role of personality within leadership development.
Having worked in a wide variety of industries she can draw insight from a range of organisations and the span of her work includes national and international exposure in the Middle East, India, and Far East. Having worked in the UAE with the Government of Abu Dhabi for over a year, she has had unique to access to understanding different cultural norms within the Arab states.
The scope of her experience includes the design and delivery of assessment and development materials in a selection and leadership development context. Having both academic and professional expertise in personal development, her role has broadened to include Executive Coaching.
Extending her expertise into higher education, she has designed and delivered teaching programmes at Northumbria Business School as well as delivering leadership coaching at world leading institutions including Lancaster University Management School and Alliance Manchester Business School.
Merroney is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society including the Division of Occupational Psychologists and Special Group in Coaching Psychology. Her qualifications include a distinction at master’s level and a registered test user at the BPS Psychological Testing Centre.
